Municipal and government work

Smith, Tollefson & Rahrick serves as City Attorneys for the Cities of Medford and Claremont. We have assisted those small but growing communities in their expansion and development efforts. The firm has drafted ordinances, resolutions, development agreements, and other documents, and represents these communities in civil litigation.

We also serve as general counsel for the South County Health Alliance, a joint purchasing board formed of nine counties in southern and central Minnesota which contracts to provide medical assistance to citizens who are eligible for Medical Assistance and General Assistance medical care.

We also handle litigation involving other municipalities and units of government, including zoning, conditional use permits, and claims and litigation.
